What are your operating hours?
We operate from Tuesdays to Sundays, 1200 to 2000hrs. We are open on Public Holidays (unless PH is on a Monday).
For other closure (e.g. roadshows), we will announce our opening hours via Togoparts or our website. We are flexible
in opening earlier or close later, give us a call or write to us to arrange. We will be happy to fit into your schedule.
What is this bike trial thing all about?
We believe that letting our Customers try out the bike before purchasing will ensure that our Customers is convinced
that the Ventura foldables are something that they are comfortable with. We allow our Customers to bring the bike to
East Coast Park to do such trials. Just bring along a photo ID when you come to try out a bike. Note that we only have
the Ventura Transport and Ventura Speed Touring for trials. For the Colnago bikes and Mini Cooper bikes, we normally
put Customers on trainers.
How can i book a bike trial?
You can book a trial on line or you can call us at 6696 9864 to book a trial. To avoid clash in schedule, kindly wait for
our confirmation before you come down for the trial.
Do you charge a fee for the trial?
Nope, we don’t. We only ask for your photo ID in exchange for the trial bike.
What are the modes of payment available?
We accept Cash, Credit Card and Cheque payment. For Credit Card, Masters, Visa and JCB are accepted. You may
want to take note that we don’t have NETS facilities available. The nearest ATM machine available is a UOB teller some
50m away (at the nearby Shell Petrol Station). For other ATM machines, the nearest is Kembangan MRT station (some
100m away from our shop location. Citibank and DBS ATM is available at Kembangan MRT station). DBS ATM is also
available at East Shore Hospital (some 200m away)
Any instalment scheme available?
Yes, we do have 0% interest instalment available. The minimum amount spent is S$500 for a 6 month’s 0% interest
instalment. You must also be a Citibank Credit Card holder.
Do you do free delivery?
Yes, we do delivery anywhere in Singapore for a minimum spending of S$1000.
I am from overseas and i want to buy a bike in its original box so that i can transport it elsewhere, can this be done?
Yes, just let us know what model you would like to purchase and the colour of the bike, we can let you collect the bike
in boxed condition.
Where are your bikes from?
Ventura Foldables are from Taiwan, Colnago bikes are from Taiwan or Italy, Mini Cooper Bikes are from China or Taiwan.
Does the accessories you carry fit only foldable bikes?
The accessories that we carry are not limited to fit foldable bikes, they fit most of other Mountain Bikes and Road bikes
as well. Write to us or call us if you need the certain dimension parameters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your foldables be carried onto MRT or buses?
Yes, our foldables can be carried onto MRT and buses. The guideline from LTA is foldable bikes should not exceed
114cm by 64cm by 36cm. When folded, the Ventura Traveler model measures at 87cm by 64cm by 35cm, while our
Ventura Speed Touring and Ventura Transport models both measure at 82cm by 62cm by 36cm. The Mini Cooper
Foldables are also in the same ball park (refer to the the various bike models for details). All our foldables meet
the dimensions guideline setforth by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). You may also want to take note that LTA
has imposed timing restrictions onto MRT and buses, you can carry the foldable bike up only from 0930hrs to 1600hrs,
2000hrs to end of operation hours (this is for Monday to Friday). On Sat and Sunday, there is NO timing restrictions on
carrying foldable bikes up a MRT or buses.
What is the marketplace in your website all about?
We understand that some cyclists out there may have some unused bicycle or bicycle accessories sitting in a dark
corner and there is no platform to sell them off. Even there is a platform, it can be a hassle to answer to PM (private
message) or sms the potential buyer on related product queries. These hassles can be left to Axis Cycles to manage
on your behalf. Therefore, we started this service for our value Customers.
Do i have to pay to sell off my item?
We may or may not take a cut from the sold item. It is all discussable. If you have bought a bicycle from us, we will be
happy to do this at no charge. Nevertheless, Axis Cycles has the rights to reject to sell off an item in the marketplace.
Last but not least, the items preferred are bicycle accessories. Bicycles can get kind of space intensive. Whatever the
case may be, talk to us, we are confident that we can work out an amicable solution.
